Fox Trot by Bill Amend

Long description of the Fox Trot story of Bill Amend:

Fox Trot by Bill Amend

Fox Trot and his friend are right next to Fox Trot's mom.

The mom looks at them, pausing from reading her magazine and says:

— I thought I told you to go play outside.

Fox Trot replied, making gestures with his hands:

— We tried! It's boring! There is nothing fun to do out there!

The mom goes back to her magazine and says:

— Use your imagination. I'm sure you can come up with something.

Fox Trot is stunned.

Having to comply, Fox Trot and his friend walk out. Sitting in the grass in the backyard, Fox Trot says:

— Okay, this basketball will be the computer, and that frisbee will be the disk we're partitioning for Linux.

And the friend replies:

— Uh Oh. The boot sector has a scratch.
